Mióta csak rátaláltam a neten a Geocachingre, vágytam rá, hogy kipróbáljam, de nem volt GPS-em. Aztán pár év elteltével az eszközök összeforrtak, és a telefonom okosodott GPS-szé. Regeltem is a geocaching.hu és geocaching.com oldalakra, de épp úgy hozta a sors, hogy az első ládámmal szinte egyidőben találtam meg az első munzee-mat, és azonnal észrevettem, mennyivel egyszerűbb, mint a geocaching.
Hogy mi is az a munzee? Ugyanaz, mint a geocaching: kincskeresés nagy gyerekeknek. Szeretnél új helyeket megismerni a környéken, de nem tudod, hol kezdd? Keress munzeet! Olyan helyeken vannak elrejtve, amit valaki valami miatt érdekesnek talált, mindez megspékelve a keresés és megtalálás örömével. Szóval izgalmas dolog!

Első munzee-m Csepelen a Popileuszko utcában volt, nem könnyen találtam rá, elvégre ez volt az első kincskeresésem... Féltem minden gyanakvóan néző gyalogostól, pláne minden rendőrautótól... De meglett! és nagy öröm volt. Olyannyira, hogy egy óra múlva le is léptem a melóból, és meg sem álltam, amíg az egy km-es sugaramban lévő összes könnyen megtalálható munzee-t le nem vadásztam.

Megismertem a szinte a szomszédomban lévő kubista református templomot, aminek a létéről fogalmam sem volt, és még egy rakás helyet, ami mellett simán elmentem máskor.

1. van egy androidos vagy iPhone okostelefonja
2. él még benne a gyerek

Ever since I found Geocaching on the Internet, I wanted to try it, but I didn't have a GPS. Then a few years gone by, and the devices had combined: my mobile went to be a GPS. After that, I regged to geocaching.hu and geocaching.com. Fate would have it, I found my first munzee just before the cache -- and I had to realize, the it's far easier, than loggint the geocahe.

What is munzee? The same as geogaching: scavenger hunt for grown-ups. Want to get to know new, interesting places nearby, but don't know, where to start? Hunt for a munzee! They're hidden at places the hiders find interesting, plus spiced with the excitement of the search & capture. All in all, it's gripping.
My first munzee ever was in Csepel, Budapest, Hungary, in Populeszko Street. I didn't find it easily, after all, that was my first munzee... I was afraid of every padestrian, and mainly every police car. (Yeah, I spent there a lot of time, two police cars went by in the meantime.) But finally, I found it, yeah! And I was delighted so much, that I left work in an hour or so, and hunted all easily-findable munzees in a 1 km radius.

I got to know a nice cubist Calvinistic church nearby, the one, which I didn't even know, that exists, and a few other places I used to go on by.

I recomment munzing for all of you who:
1. have an Android or iPhone smartphone
2. has a child in them.
